- Pi Network users face migration failures as unresolved technical issues block them from transferring their coins before the March 14 deadline.
- Pi Network risks losing user trust as many demand an extension to prevent losing their holdings.
Time is Running Out
Pi Network users are in a state of panic. The March 14, 2025, deadline for migrating their mined Pi Coins (PI) to the Mainnet is fast approaching. Many users face technical issues preventing them from completing the process. If they fail to meet the deadline, they risk losing most of their holdings.
The Critical Deadline
Pi Network has made it clear—users must complete their Know Your Customer (KYC) verification and migration by 8:00 AM UTC on March 14. Any untransferred coins, except those mined in the last six months, will be lost.
Despite past extensions, this final deadline seems non-negotiable. A Pi Network blog post stated:
“The end of the Grace Period is inevitable to make sure the network can move on in its new phase without large sums of unverified and unclaimed mobile balances.”
But frustrated users argue that technical failures have made migration impossible.
Users Struggle with Migration Errors
Many Pioneers report that their balances remain stuck even after completing all necessary steps. System errors have left them in limbo, with no clear resolution.
Jaro Giesbrecht, a Pi Network user, voiced his frustration online:
“The Pi Network has done nothing to help solve this problem. It is a very common problem.”
Other users echo the same complaints. One stated:
“~80% of my balance shows as unverified, although all of my security circle has completed KYC. No additional actions are listed to be taken to clear this up.”
Will Pi Network Take Action?
A major issue blocking transfers is Step 9 of the Mainnet checklist: “Migrate to Mainnet.” Even users who completed all previous steps remain stuck due to migration errors. With no official response from the Pi Network team, fears of losing coins grow stronger.
As the deadline looms, pressure mounts. Will Pi Network fix these issues or extend the deadline? Users anxiously wait for answers, hoping their efforts to mine Pi Coins won’t go to waste.
