The SHIB-linked account “Shibarium Updates” (@Shibizens) shared this update on X, emphasizing that each token plays a unique part in supporting the ecosystem’s foundation and expansion.
SHIB: The Heartbeat of the Ecosystem
According to the guide, SHIB functions as the ecosystem’s primary currency and adoption catalyst. It’s not just a meme coin—it’s widely accepted as payment through BitPay, Binance Pay, and NOWPayments, making it accessible to thousands of merchants worldwide.
Thanks to regular token burns, SHIB is deflationary by design, increasing its scarcity and long-term appeal. The post described it best: “SHIB is what brings people in. It’s the ecosystem’s heartbeat.”
BONE: Powering Shibarium’s Engine
BONE is at the center of Shibarium’s infrastructure. Acting as both the gas and governance token, BONE is essential for executing smart contracts and transactions on the network. Without BONE, the chain simply doesn’t move.
