ShibaInu Price Dips 2%, But Shibarium’s 200M Milestone Could Ignite a SHIB Rally

  • ShibaInu is down 2%, but its Layer-2 solution Shibarium is nearing 200 million wallet addresses, signaling strong adoption and growing investor interest.
  • ShibaInu also mirrors Dogecoin’s historic patterns, with whale activity and bullish sentiment suggesting a potential rally ahead.

ShibaInu Slides, But Momentum Builds Beneath the Surface

ShibaInu (SHIB) has slipped 2% in the past 24 hours, but behind the dip lies a surge in ecosystem growth. The meme coin’s Layer-2 solution, Shibarium, is approaching a major milestone—199.3 million total wallet addresses—with expectations it will soon cross the 200 million mark, signaling explosive adoption and a solid foundation for future price movement.

Dogecoin Déjà Vu: Bullish Patterns Spark Hype

Shiba Inu community figure Shib Knight has pointed out that SHIB is now mirroring Dogecoin’s historic price structure, a pattern that previously preceded major rallies. Echoing the sentiment, crypto trader Marcus Corvirus says SHIB is “ready to explode,” citing bullish momentum that’s building even stronger than during its February surge.

Shibarium Hits Big Numbers: $1B in Volume, Millions of Wallets

March saw Shibarium surpass $1 billion in total transaction volume, reinforcing its position as one of the busiest Layer-2 blockchains in the crypto space. Backing this growth, SHIB also remains a top ERC-20 token with over 1.5 million unique wallets, emphasizing a loyal and growing holder base.

Whale Activity Heats Up While Resistance Looms

Data from IntoTheBlock reveals a 28.7% surge in large SHIB transactions, with the number of $100,000+ transfers rising from 86 to 99 in just 24 hours. Interestingly, daily active addresses fell 8.7%, suggesting a shift toward larger, potentially institutional players entering the market.

However, U.Today reports that over 533 trillion SHIB is held between $0.000015 and $0.000019, creating a major resistance zone. With the average entry price at $0.000017, this level could determine SHIB’s next breakout or breakdown.

Community Optimism Remains Unshaken

In a recent post on X, ShibaInu marketing lead Lucie reinforced the project’s long-term mission:

“SHIB is not just a token, it’s powered by purpose, by people, and by belief in something better.”

While the path forward may be volatile, the SHIB army appears ready—and with Shibarium’s growth showing no signs of slowing, the next big rally might be closer than it seems.
